Do long distant relationships work?

I have been with my bf for over a year im 17 hes 16 and hes lives in california and i live in Rhode island which is across the country and we met in person last month and he might not be able to visit again till summer time but i talk to him every single day but we love eachother soooooo much and i wanted to move there after college...do u think it will work out or last?Do long distant relationships work?

I think it can work, but you really have to want it to. Long distance relationships are so hard because you don't experience the touch, smell, etc from your bf/gf.
Well my bfnis in colorado and im in alabama and were doing ok. I wont see him until december(only for three weeks) and hes been gone since june. So id say its possible.
