I've had a few long distance relationships that didn't go so well, and I've learned a lot about them. It all depends on how committed you are to the other person, and how they feel about you. Honestly I feel that when your young, love shouldn't be difficult and you should just have fun, and if a long distance relationship seems too difficult for you to handle its just best to let it go.
Long distance relationships are extremely hard and take ALOT of work. It will take a little time but you will eventually be happy. You just have to be able to trust the person. Now the age difference is just depending on how much older/younger. Age really shouldn't matter unless its more than 5 years.
Can't help you with the long distance question, but I've been married 20 yrs to a man 18yrs older. Life left me old before my time, and he is a perpetual child. Travels with the senior olympics. It works for us. You need to look at the reasons you are attracted to someone older. Or if age is even the attraction at all.
idk but having someone you really like far away makes you feel loved and happy like you can't live with out it If you do i think theres something missing but i get mad theyll always be with me somehow far away only i don't like them to be more then a year or more older then me or two years younger

It depends. More than likely no, but in some miraculous cases they do last long enough for the two to get back together physically.
