If the book is for you, which is a safe assumption (unless you are a concerned friend)...a book should not be your answer. YOU should be your answer. A book will not change who you are. Why would you want to lower your expectations? If being treated with respect, being loved, and cared for above everything is too much, you are looking for the wrong type of guy. They are out there. Don't lower your expectations or you may end up lowering your morals and be treated terribly. Now, if you expect to be overshowered with money, presents and everything material, then you are simply a spoiled brat and should lower your expectations.
